Museum's Winter Fest celebrates the season Jan. 13
For centuries, the only way to get around on snow was by ski, snowshoe or sleigh. But when the internal combustion engine came along, winter-loving innovators developed machines for use on the snow. Visitors to the Miracle of America Museum in Polson can learn more about (and take a ride on) some of these early machines when the museum holds its third annual Winter Fest from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Jan. 13.
