Monique McRae, the Wiscasset Branch Manager of the First National Bank, and Ann Clifford, Branch Supervisor, presented a generous donation to the Maine Art Gallery on April 9 at a meeting with several members of the gallery’s board of trustees. The contribution of $500 provides sponsorship for the “Paint the Town and Plein Air Show” July 21-25 when artists set up their easels around Wiscasset to document the local scenery. A reception will be held on the evening of July 24 at the gallery when the artwork will be for sale.   ....
