Six new cases of monkeypox in adult males were identified within the past week, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health said.
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health announced an additional case of monkeypox in an adult man who recently traveled internationally on Thursday, bringing the total number of monkeypox cases in the state to seven since May.
The DPH said they were working with health care providers to identify individuals who may have been in contact with the patient.
