A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has since appeared in court charged with wounding with intent. He has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance. The 17-year-old was stabbed in the stomach in Wolverhampton Street in broad daylight at around 2.54pm yesterday (Monday December 28). The youngster was treated at the scene and was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
