The event was organized at Guwahati by the Women Development Cell of the bank. It was largely attended by the female staff of the bank. Nazneen Ahmed, Additional Secretary, Finance Dept and Eva Deka, Director, Institutional Finance Dept were guests of honour of the event. Both of them in their speeches appreciated the effort of the bank and called for empowerment of women for social justice. The meeting was also addressed by Debasish Gangopadhyay, Chairman of the bank. Sisodia claimed that this was the highest Budget of the Delhi government till date, which is 6 per cent higher than the previous years. Last year (2020-21), the annual Budget was Rs 65,000 crore. Calling it a Deshbhakti Budget, Sisodia said this was to mark the 75th anniversary of India s Independence in 2022. ....
