Moment a massive five-metre-long crocodile snaps up a turtle in Daintree River, north Queensland

The frightening moment a nearly five-metre-long saltwater crocodile snapped up a large turtle has been captured on video. The footage was taken from a mustering helicopter just south from the mouth of the Daintree River in far north Queensland.   The crocodile was seen swimming about half a kilometre from the shore when it was seen by Brian Bartlett. A mustering helicopter patrolling the Daintree region happened upon the "4.5m" croc with what looks to be a huge turtle in its jaws. The animal was swimming around 500 metres from the coastline.
