The Woodstock-Oxford Rotary Club will be hosting the Ontario Toy Show at the Embro Zorra Community Centre this Saturday. The Rotary Consignment Auction opened last week and will close tomorrow.

It was another successful year for the Woodstock Police Service’s annual Fill-a-Cruiser event.
The community filled a record 12 police cruisers with donations for the local Salvation Army food bank on Saturday. That included more than 680 pre-made food bags sold at Sobeys, plenty of other non-perishable food items, and $500 in cereal donated by General Mills. There were also 39 bags donated by Giant Tiger, the Woodstock Oxford Rotary Club and the community free table.

Auxiliary members also collected $1,510 at the Salvation Army kettle in the Sobeys, as well as another $250 donation.
WPS Auxiliary Fill-A-Cruiser Food Drive a Huge Success It was a record year for the WPS Auxiliary Fill-A-Cruiser Food Drive. They were able to fill 12 cruisers with food donations and collect over $1,500 for the local Salvation Army.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Police Service Auxiliary Unit was able to fill 12 cruisers with food donations on Saturday.
They were stationed at the Sobey s in Woodstock and set a new record for donations this year. The donations included 683 pre-made $10.00 bags sold by Sobeys, a variety of other donated non-perishable items as well as $500.00 worth of cereal products donated by General Mills and 39 bags donated by Giant Tiger, Woodstock / Oxford Rotary Club and the Community Free Table.
