The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has arrested former Mumbai top cop Sanjay Pandey for illegally snooping on NSE employees.
On July 05, Pandey had appeared before the ED in Delhi for enquiries in another money laundering case linked to the alleged National Stock Exchange (NSE) co-location scam.
Big and green apparel factories are content bagging a constant stream of work orders but small, medium and subcontracting units are suffering amidst volatility in the global garment supply chain stemming from the Russia-Ukraine war.
The alleged snooping took place between 2009 to 2017, coincidentally, the period when the co-location scam took place. The snooping machine was later disposed of as e-waste of NSE.
The Central Bureau of Investigation registered a case against a private company based at New Delhi.
