The Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals say they will remain in Jackson County if voters approve an extension of the 3/8-cent sales tax in April.
The hearing is set for 3 p.m. at the Jackson County Courthouse in downtown Kansas City.
That 3/8ths tax is needed to help fund a potential new stadium for the Kansas City Royals and renovate Arrowhead Stadium.
On Monday morning, the Jackson County Legislature voted to postpone consideration on a 40-year extension of the three-eighths of a cent sales tax.
