Danville City Council approves utility rate adjustments

DANVILLE, Va. — On a recommendation from the Danville Utility Commission, the city’s rate consultant and city staff, Danville City Council approved the adjusting of utility rates for the city’s utility customers. Following the completion of a 2021 biennial rate study, proposed adjustments will go into effect on July 1. These changes include net decreases to electric and gas rates.
