8,49,200 new vehicles in Kerala in 2019-2020 Deviating from the compounded annual growth rate of above 10% for the past two decades, the growth of vehicle population in Kerala has decreased by 6.36% in 2020 over the previous year’s 10.7%. The number of newly registered vehicles in 2019-2020 was 8,49,200 in the State compared to 12,92,295 vehicles registered in 2018-2019.
