Toei Animation announced on Tuesday that the second anime season based on Daisuke Ashihara's World Trigger manga will begin streaming on Crunchyroll and France's Anime Digital Network (Note: Crunchyroll owns Kazé, which owns Anime Digital Network) on January 9, the same day that it premieres in Japan. Following the end of the massive 70 plus episode first season's run from a few years ago, Daisuke Ashihara's World Trigger series will be returning for a brand new season featuring all sorts of new adventures and battles for the central heroes to face.
