Deutsches Haus welcomes spring with Volksfest Volksfest or Maifest is a traditional German celebration of spring and outdoor activities after a long winter. The Deutsches Haus, located along Bayou St. John at 1700 Moss Street, will celebrate on Friday, April 30, from 4 to 10 p.m. and Saturday, May 1 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is $5 for non-members and free for kids under 12 years.
