資深釣客謝晉亨29日上午在台南市安平漁港航道北堤釣魚時，突然釣中覺得「像是地球一樣沉重」的物品，他奮力把釣中物拉到岸邊，赫見是具浮屍，即放下釣竿報警。謝男說，30多年釣齡頭一遭釣中遺體，詭異的是釣中遺體前幾個小時完全沒釣上魚，之後就到安平寺廟拜拜、燒些金紙給亡者求平安。謝男說，他知道這是做功德，亡者冥冥之中跟他有緣，才會被他的釣竿鉤中，所以不會想在拉近岸邊後割斷釣魚線。
