Nigerian Police Arrest, Detain Journalist On Orders Of Sex Toy Lover, Senator Abbo, Deny Reporter Access To Family Members, Lawyers
Some lawless policemen attached to the Federal Capital Territory acting on the orders of Senator Elisha Abbo have detained a freelance journalist, Yau Saeed Mubi. Abbo represents Adamawa North in the National Assembly. SaharaReporters gathered that Mubi was arrested on December 27 over a publication on the absence of good governance. The journalist has been denied access to his lawyers and family members by the policemen since his arrest.
