　　所谓“绫子”，是一种比缎子还薄的丝织品；“托绫子”，就是在绫子上刷上浆糊，再将一张宣纸贴在上面，以备装裱字画时使用。“摆放要平，动作要轻，绫子与宣纸之间的空气要排干净。”张怡晗复习着曹晋教她的方法要点，“我就是在刷宣纸时力道重了一点点……”
　　“托绫子”只是书画修复中的基本功。同样是托纸，馆藏书画作品的背面大多附有一张起保护作用的宣纸，被业内称为“命纸”。纸质文物对环境敏感，每隔一定年限，“命纸”也需要修复。
　　“‘命纸’和原作紧紧相连，有的几近融为一体，稍有不慎，文物就会遭到不可逆的破坏。”曹晋说完这句，屏住呼吸小心翼翼地用镊子把褶皱的宣纸重新整平，最后只留下一个几乎看不出的小裂缝。绫子还能用，张怡晗松了一口气，同时暗暗庆幸，“好在这不是文物”。
　　去年8月，张怡晗进入文保中心书画修复室工作，做了曹晋的徒弟。起初，她主要负责拍摄待修复书画的影像资料，记录破损情况，用仪器检测它们的酸碱度、纸张厚度、尺寸等，进而为文物创建修复档案。
　　让这个90后女生惊奇的是，先进的信息化技术在文物修复工作中被大量应用的同时，许多传承多年的“古老”操作也没有被弃用。比如，直到现在，书画修复室用的浆糊还是完全靠人工手打制作。
　　“为什么不用机器搅拌？”面对张怡晗的疑问，曹晋解释说，目前的机器还难以判断浆糊是否达到最适宜的粘稠度和凝结度，“这要凭手上的感觉来确认”。
　　“凭感觉”，每一个年轻修复师几乎都会从自己师父口中反复听到这3个类似“玄学”的字。杜安的徒弟徐一杰也不例外。
　　在杜安的实验室里，用于打磨、抛光、切割的仪器有好几台，每一台徐一杰都用得得心应手。可到了要干“刮锈迹”这样的“简单”活儿的时候，她还是要寻求师父的指导。
　　“哪一块是有害锈，哪一块是无害锈，一刀下去要刮多深刮多重，都是凭感觉。”学着杜安说话，1997年出生的徐一杰半是调皮，半是无奈：虽然在从业3年多时间里经手修复了60多件文物，但徐一杰显然还没有修出“感觉”。
　　感觉，源自千百万次的重复。20多年来，对每一件交到自己手里的文物，杜安都会一步不落地执行准备工作：拍照，测量尺寸，绘图，采样，制订分析方案，进行分析测试和修复实验，制订修复方案，报批方案。等到了正式修复环节，一天下来只能清理指甲盖大小的锈迹更是家常便饭。
　　就这样，杜安已累计完成了对1000余件文物的修复。“练到最后，不就是‘感觉’吗？”
　　入行不到1年，张怡晗的实操“首秀”几乎理所当然地以失败告终。不过这个自小习惯了快速、便捷的年轻人倒也不气馁，“看来属于我的感觉，还得接着练”。
