Union blindsided by Telstra job cuts
Yesterday Telstra announced it will axe up to 2800 jobs by the end of the year as part of an ambitious cost-saving measure to improve productivity and connectivity for customers across the country. But Telstra workers say they were completely blindsided by the announcement, and should have been asked to the table long before the axe fell.
