It may be noted that Indian Medical Association (IMA) has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi urging him to take action to stop the alleged misinformation campaign by Baba Ramdev.

IMA appealed to the Prime Minister to book the “owner of Patanjali products” on sedition charges for “spreading fear” against Covid vaccination. IMA also lauded the Prime Minister for his effort to address the importance of vaccination in all public addresses. IMA files police complaint against Baba Ramdev over his remarks on allopathy doctors

The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has filed police complaint against Yog Guru Ramdev for his defamatory and insensitive remarks about allopathy treatment, vaccination and medicines administered to treat Covid19 patients, and the doctors.
The complaint has been filed under Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897, Disaster Management Act, 2005 with all other relevant provisions of law.
Yesterday, IMA Raipur, had filed a complaint at Raipur Civil Lines police station against the Patanjali founder.
