UTRGV loses 84-55 to Southern Utah, drop to 2-8 in WAC
RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women’s basketball team became fell to the Southern Utah University Thunderbirds 84-55 on Saturday at the UTRGV Fieldhouse. Junior Halie Jones led the Vaqueros (8-13, 2-8 WAC) with a season-high tying 16 points while going a season-high tying 4-for-5 from behind the arc with four rebounds and two steals.
