参会人员先后实地参观了怀安县朝蕾学生公寓和欣蕾学生公寓，详细听取了工作人员对公寓管理工作的介绍，重点对公寓内厨房食品安全进行了查看。各区县观摩人员对公寓的经验成果和亮点做法进行了交流。
现场会上，杜平对怀安县学生公寓食品安全工作给予充分肯定，并希望各区县借鉴学习。杜平指出，要提高政治站位，确保校园食品安全。要明确主体责任，把食品安全当作政治任务来抓，要加大食堂硬件投入，保证良好的运行条件，要把好原材料采购、餐具消毒、人员卫生、食品操作间这四个关口，杜绝安全隐患发生，要加强食品安全监管，提升学校食堂菜品质量，保障各项措施落到实处。
