Several multi-billion naira houses in Kuntuku V Extension layout in the Gwagwalada area council of Abuja have been demolished by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA). SaharaReporters gathered that several houses were on September 1 pulled down in the area, triggering a mixture of fear and anger among residents. The demolition, particularly without compensation to the affected persons, has worsened hardship in the area as many residents are now being displaced.
