The Dominion Brothers 7s rugby team has replaced Police White in the last leg of the Super 7s Series.
The Cakaudrove 7 Selection is the 15th while Macuata Selection will be the 16th team to participate in the third leg of the Fiji Rugby Union Super Sevens Series to be held at Ratu Ganilau Park in Savusavu on Friday and Saturday.
Fiji Rugby Union chief executive officer John O’Connor confirmed that the two teams had secured their places after the qualification tournament at Ganilau Park. ....

THE national 7s team management will review its participation at the 34th Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s last weekend with plans to look at the viability of participating in other club tournaments apart from the Fiji Rugby Union Super Sevens Series.
The Fiji shadow teams, Fiji Warriors and Fiji Barbarians featured in the two-day event eventually ending up in the cup final.
Fiji 7s coach Gareth Baber said his players were tested in the tournament, especially on the outfields at Prince Charles Park which were a bit smaller than the main pitch. ....

AN alarming number of cards were flashed during the 34th Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s last weekend highlighting the need for more mentoring of players in regards to their discipline level.
A total of 102 matches were played on day one which recorded 58 yellow cards and nine red cards.
On day two, 106 matches were played with the number of sin-bins and send offs increasing drastically.
The yellow cards recorded were 130 with 15 red cards. In the cup quarter-final between Raiwasa Taveuni and Police White, seven cards were dished out.
Watisoni Sevutia and Mesake Varo of Police White were shown the red card. ....

Police have been conducting drug raids in Kadavu and this year alone a Fiji Police Force report revealed that 17,742 plants with a street value of $28,679,682 were uprooted in wave one and wave two of police operations on the island between last month and to date.
But for last year the street value of the drugs that were seized in Kadavu was in the millions. ....
