• Assessments in affected areas are continuing and teams on the ground are increasing daily;
• Small-scale distributions of food rations and NFIs have begun is some of the most affected areas;
• Critical infrastructure and essential services continue to be restored, although some hard-to-reach areas are still facing problems with access to water, power outages and connectivity;
• Some 8,000 persons are still in Evacuation Centres; the vast majority in the Northern Division.
Situation Overview
Restauration of critical infrastructure and essential services continues throughout the affected areas. The Water Authority of Fiji has made good progress in re-establishing access to water in the Northern Division, the most severely hit area in the country. Energy Fiji Limited has also restored most of the power. Problem areas are Rakiraki (20%), areas ....

Villagers of Kia Island in Macuata have received relief supplies from the National Disaster Management Office, Australian Government, Red Cross, Vodafone and Republic of Fiji Military Forces.
Kia Island is one of the worst affected areas after Cyclone Yasa.
The Australian TC Yasa relief supplies arrived on Kia Island yesterday.
Kia Island Nurse Losana Yabaki says after the cyclone, they were in urgent need of food and water but they are so fortunate that the very next day they received assistance from some of their relatives overseas, Red Cross and Vodafone. The NDMO also dropped off supplies over the weekend. ....

It is time to lend a helping hand to those severely affected by Severe Tropical Cyclone Yasa.
Communications Fiji Limited, the parent company of Legend FM, FM96, Viti FM, Navtarang, Radio Sargam and fijivillage has started a TC Yasa Radio Appeal to raise funds for people who have lost everything after the monster cyclone.
CFL’s Senior Content Director, Satya Nand says many people have been affected in Vanua Levu, Yasawa, Mamanuca, Koro and Southern Lau Group, and are in need of urgent assistance. ....

Only 8% of areas in Labasa and Savusavu have power supply after damage to the power network in Vanua Levu.
Energy Fiji Limited says they have restored power to most parts of Labasa Town and Labasa Hospital.
None of the areas in Seaqaqa and Dreketi have power supply.
75% of areas in Taveuni have power supply now.
Energy Fiji Limited restoration will take time as every metre of power line has to be physically inspected, repaired where required, before it is energized.
