WAILUKU A Molokai man who was arrested last month for allegedly firing shots in a residence has been charged with attempted murder of his ex-girlfriend.
The attempted second-degree murder charge was included in an amended complaint against Ama Jacobs, 34.
He also is charged with prohibited possession of a firearm, prohibited possession of firearm ammunition, carrying a loaded firearm on a public highway, keeping a loaded firearm in an improper place, first-degree burglary, two counts of first-degree terroristic threatening and use of a firearm in the commission of a separate felony.
Police were called to a residence on Farrington Avenue in Kualapuu on March 26 to investigate a report that Jacobs was shooting a gun in the residence. ....
