West Australian Premier Mark McGowan has accused the Fremantle council of prolonging a homeless camp in the port city while calling for tent city to end now .
But the local government has maintained it never approved the use of Pioneer Park for rough sleepers, despite Mr McGowan s salvo.

Police on Thursday revealed a string of incidents they were tying to the camp, including the alleged indecent dealing of two girls aged 14 and 13 years, and the rape of one of them in the early hours of January 1 on Fleet Street which starts about 500m away from the park. ....
