On Monday, March 15, at approximately 11 a.m., officer Justin Taylor initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 3800 block of US Hwy 377S.
Contact was made with the driver who identified herself  but could not provide a driver’s license.  While investigating this stop, a syringe was located inside a purse which was confirmed to contain a small amount of methamphetamine.  The driver was arrested at this time.  A second purse was located which contained a driver’s license that identified the individual as 44-year-old Ashley Monique Montemayor (Pruett) who confirmed that the DL did, in fact, belong to her and she was lying to the officers about her name due to having warrants for her arrest. ....
