Ammo found, women arrested in separate police exercises
A small arsenal of ammunition was found by Western Division police officers on Saturday.
Police said they were on an anti-crime exercises co-ordinated by Snr Supt Kelvern Thompson and other officers of the Western Division which included inspectors Bruno and Grant.
Police went to a bushy area at Upper La Puerta, Diego Martin when they found 2,601 rounds of assorted ammunition.
Police counted the ammunition and found 1,613 rounds of 7.62 ammo, 656 rounds of 9mm ammo and 332 rounds of .223 ammunition. In a separate incident, two women were arrested and a quantity of cocaine seized during an anti-crime exercise conducted in the Central Division. ....
