Trinity suspends in-person worship
Trinity by-the-Sea Episcopal Church, an open-air sanctuary at 100 Kulanihakoi St. in Kihei, has suspended its Sunday worship service until further notice due to COVID-19 safety concerns, according to an announcement.
Trinity Treasures Thrift Shop also is closed at the same location.

St. Anthony to honor deacon
St. Anthony Church in Wailuku is planning to acknowledge recently retired deacon Stephen Maglente on Jan. 24.
Maglente, who retired Dec. 28, has been a longtime parishioner at St. Anthony. He and his wife Momi were active members of the church while raising their four children: Shannon, Diren, Laurene and Joy. ....
