All-India tourist permit to be offered to operators in 30 days of applying

In a bid to promote tourism, all-India tourist permits will be provided to operators within 30 days of online application submission, the government has announced. The new rules will be applicable from 1 April 2021.
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has announced a new scheme, under which any tourist vehicle operator may apply for an ‘All India Tourist Authorization/Permit’ through online mode. It will be issued, after relevant documents are submitted and fees deposited, within 30 days of submission of such applications, MoRTH said in a statement.
The new set of rules, it said, will be known as, ‘All India Tourist Vehicles Authorization and Permit Rules, 2021’. The existing permits shall continue to be in force during their validity. ....

NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has announced a new scheme, under which any tourist vehicle operator may apply for an ”All India Tourist Authorization/Permit” through online mode.
It will be issued, after relevant documents are submitted and fees deposited, within 30 days of submission of such applications. ”The new set of rules, to be known as, ‘All India Tourist Vehicles Authorization and Permit Rules, 2021’ has been published vide GSR 166( E) dated March 10.
The new rules will be applicable from April 1. All existing permits will continue to be in force during their validity,” the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways said in a statement here on Sunday. ....

New Delhi [India], March 14 (ANI): In a bid to promote tourism and grow state revenues, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has announced a new scheme, under which any tourist vehicle operator may apply for an All India Tourist Authorization/Permit through online mode.
The ministry also informed that a new set of rules will be known as, All India Tourist Vehicles Authorization and Permit Rules, 2021 which has been published vide GSR 166 (E) dated March 10 and will be applicable from April 1.
According to the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, the permit will be issued, after the submission of relevant documents and fees within 30 days of submission of such applications and the new set of rules will be applicable from April 1. ....
