JAMMU : Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr Raghav Langer today inspected the status of work on the upcoming Jammu Haat building Complex – earlier known as J&K Trade Facilitation Centre. During visit to the site, the Div Com was accompanied by Managing Director J&K Trade Promotion Organization, Ankita Kar; Director Handloom & Handicrafts, Vikas Gupta; General Manager DIC, Jammu, Subah Mehta; General Manager SICOP, Rajan Sharma; Assistant Engineer, Chamandeep Singh and other concerned officers. Pertinently, the place was rechristened under Government Order No. 146 IND of 2021, dated, 13-7-2021 renaming the J&K Trade Facilitation Centre, Exhibition Ground, Jammu as ‘Jammu Haat’. As per the vision & directions of the Lieutenant Governor, this mega facility would be used to promote handicraft, handloom and industrial and allied activities in the division. ....
