New Fingal County Council speed limit by-laws are set to see a speed limit of 30kph introduced for more residential estates and go-slow limits set for our schools.
The Fingal County Council Special Speed Limit Draft Bye-Laws 2021 were approved at a recent full meeting of the council.
The completion of a five-year speed limit review on regional and local roads is required by the Department of Transport and supported by Fingal County Council s Road Safety Plan.
The previous full county speed limit review was adopted in 2014, and a number of amendments to the 2014 Speed Limits have been enacted between 2014-2019 incorporating the necessary changes to the speed limits on the road network as they were required. ....
