Toronto police are vowing to take further action to quell the few social gatherings that continue to take place during the provincial shutdown and stay-at-home order.
The force has gone as far as establishing dedicated new teams to focus on enforcing Ontario s gathering limits, which as of April 17 were tightened from five person maximum outdoors to only those from the same household, with the potential addition of a person who lives alone or is a caregiver for that household. ....

KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah government has ordered local authorities to take action against those who have turned open markets into Ramadan bazaars, attracting large crowds.
With the state government already disallowing Ramadan bazaars, some areas with open markets in the state were seen crowded with people and there was little or no enforcement in checking the large numbers.
The local councils must act immediately and take action to control overcrowding. The health menace is real, Sabah Covid-19 spokesman Datuk Masidi Manjun said when contacted on Friday (April 16). ....

Parking officials in Copenhagen are keeping the rules under wraps, claiming drivers will argue with wardens and skirt around the law if they know the system. According to public broadcaster DR, Parking Copenhagen is withholding information about its regulations and issuing tickets without any reference to written policy.
DR received a 110-page document after requesting the official rules from the parking authorities in Denmark’s capital. They found that while sections included guidelines on how wardens should behave and issue tickets, large chapters concerning actual parking conventions were omitted.
When questioned about the missing information, Parking Copenhagen said that the data was “exempt from the law in that it is necessary for the protection of significant considerations regarding the implementation of public control, regulation or planning enterprises.” The group added that motorists would try to work around traffic laws if they became too familiar with the ....

Judy Chu (D-Calif.) would make it increasingly more difficult for the president to suspend immigration for certain classes of individuals where the suspension would serve in the national interest. It was under this authority that Pres. Trump was able to suspend the entry of travelers from certain regions of the world at the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. POPS members are fighting the scourge of drugs in the Province

In The Hague, in Delft, the members conducted a stop and search operation when their attention was drawn to a suspicious individual who made an attempt to evade police. The 19-year-old suspect was pursued and arrested in possession of 12 packets of tik. It is suspected that he has an affiliation with a local gang in the area. ....
