The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has released a complete manual with instructions for registration for the second phase of the coronavirus vaccination drive, which will cover people above the age of 60 and those above 45 with comorbidities. It is scheduled to begin on Monday.
“The objective of the document is to handhold the citizens to register and schedule an appointment for vaccination,” the government said in the introduction to the manual.
Eligible citizens will be able to register themselves on the Co-WIN 2.0 portal, which is expected to open at 9 am on Monday. They can access it through the mobile application, the government website and the Aarogya Setu app, the manual said. Walk-in registration is also an option. ....

COVID-19 Vaccination Drive Phase 2: CoWIN Registration Begins 9 AM Tomorrow

COVID-19 Vaccination Phase 2 Registration in Assam: As India gears up for the second phase of the COVID-19 vaccination drive, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said that registration for the same can be availed at
www.cowin.gov.in from 9 AM, March 1, 2021.
Meanwhile, citizens will be able to register online & book an appointment for covid vaccination, anytime and anywhere, using the COWIN 2.0 portal or through other IT applications such as Arogya Setu etc.
This information was shared during the orientation workshop organised by the Union Health Ministry and the National Health Authority (NHA) for the 10,000 private hospitals under Ayushman Bharat PMJAY, more than 600 hospitals empanelled under CGHS and other private hospitals empanelled under State Government s Health Insurance Schemes, on Co-WIN2.0.The modalities of the new features integrated into the CoWIN2.0 digital platform were explained to them. Mahipal Singh, a 52-year-old ward attendant at the Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay District Hospital in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, died on 17 January.
