Ministry announces resumption of activities in educational and training centres

Doha: Based on the cabinet s latest decision to curb the spread of COVID-19, the Private Education Department in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced that it will allow the resumption of activities in licensed educational and training centres under several conditions, namely, allowing licensed special educational and training centres to provide their services with no more than 30% of the capacity, with all staff starting work at these centres completing the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine and the rest of staff to work remotely. ....

Ministry officials fine over 850 for Covid-19 violations

Doha: The designated authorities referred 861 people to the prosecution for non-compliance with the preventive and precautionary measures in place in the country to limit the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19).
Among them, 734 people were referred to the prosecution for not wearing masks in places where they are mandatory, 118 did not adhere to the social distancing,  and nine for not installing the Ehteraz app on their mobile phones.
All these violators were referred to the Public Prosecution.
Till now the ministry has referred thousands of people to the Public Prosecution for violating the Covid-19 precautionary measures in the country. ....
