Grand Rapids woman killed in rollover crash on I-96 Ionia Sentinel-Standard IONIA CO. A 42-year-old Grand Rapids woman was killed Sunday when her vehicle rolled over on I-96.  The Michigan State Police responded at 8:34 a.m. Sunday, July 4, to mile marker 57 on I-96.  The troopers investigation determined the woman was heading westbound on I-96 when her vehicle left the highway and rolled several times.  She was wearing a seat belt, but was pronounced deceased on scene.  Troopers were assisted by the Ionia County Sheriff s Department, the Saranac Fire Department and Life EMS.
