A number of new COVID-19 public exposure sites have been identified across the Palmerston area, following two new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the NT.
The two new cases are household contacts of the mine worker in Palmerston. The family members have been in quarantine at Howard Springs since Saturday and remain in quarantine under the care of NT Health.
The new COVID-19 public exposure sites include one close contact site at a Palmerston Zumba ‘pop up’ class at the recreation centre, a number of casual contact sites including at the Palmerston flea market and several retail stores at the Gateway Shopping Centre. ....

New COVID-19 drive-through testing site opens

Opening hours: 8.30am–8pm, Saturday 29 May 2021 & Sunday 30 May 2021
Details: You must book a drive-through appointment online (from 7.30pm tonight) at https://covid19appointment.nt.gov.au/test
Drive-through only. Car height limit of 2.5 metres. No taxis, motorbikes, trucks, bicycles or walk-ins permitted.
The community can be reassured that appropriate health measures will be carried out to ensure the current netball season is not disrupted and that the testing regime poses no risk to those who normally use the facility.
