SRINAGAR: As Covid-19 counties to crate havoc across the globe, in yet another heart wrenching incident, three government teachers have passed away in Jammu after loosing the battle to Covid-19. The teachers have been identified as Sushma Chib working in Government Higher Secondary School Jhiri, Mohammad Arshad posted in Government High School Gurdanbala Rajouri, and Praveen Kumar posted in Government Middle School Chinore. In addition to this three more officials working in the Directorate of Education, Jammu have also lost their lives the virus. Mehbooba Hits Out At GOI For Dismissing Teacher From Service SRINAGAR: After the J&K administration in an order on Saturday dismissed Idrees Jan , a teacher at Government Middle School, Kralpora in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district from service with immediate effect, former Chief Minister and Peoples Democratic Party president Mehbooba Mufti, slammed GOI for firing a teacher “in the name of the state’s welfare.” While taking to the micro-blogging site, twitter, she wrote, “In the middle of a pandemic GOI should focus on saving lives instead of firing govt employees on flimsy grounds in Kashmir.
