Gastonia teen faces child sex charges
A Gastonia teen faces child sexual assault charges in Lincoln County.
Calvin Alexander Fair, 18, of West Sixth Avenue, Gastonia, faces charges of statutory rape of a child, statutory sex offense with a child and crime against nature. Fair was served the warrants at the Gaston County Jail where he is being held on an unrelated charge.
He remains in the Gaston County Jail under a $770,000 bond. Charges in Gaston County include assault and auto larceny.
The Lincoln County Sheriff s Office received a report on Jan. 26 of sexual assaults that reportedly occurred in July or August of 2020. The juvenile accuser and Fair know one another, according to the Sheriff s Office. ....
