Food Safety Promoter

The Food Safety Promoter will:
Work with the Emergency Project Manager, Food Safety and Nutrition Specialist and Food Safety and Quality Officer to conduct strict quality checks for food supplies and local vendor being procured by ACTED.
Provide advice and support to the Logistics team on the correct processes for the safe storage, selection of safe food items and delivery of food items.
Ensuring that guidance provided to ACTED on appropriate food testing methodologies are implemented in all food-related procurements.
Performing sensory and technical examination of the food items available at the food vendors and supplier and make sure that ACTED beneficiaries receive safe food. ....
