Multiple injuries were reported on Saturday in a warehouse fire in Karachi s Sindh Industrial & Trading Estate (SITE) area, police and rescue officials said.
The fire brigade said that the blaze started shortly after 9am but was controlled by 3:00pm. A total of 14 fire tenders took part in extinguishing the flames. The cause of the fire and estimation of loss could not be ascertained immediately.
Station House Officer (SHO) Zawar Hussain said that the three-storey building had been badly damaged in the incident. He said that any action regarding the possible negligence of the godown administration will be taken in light of the final report. ....
