Assam: Expelled Cong MLAs Rajdeep Gowala, Ajanta Neog join BJP; call Grand Old Party visionless, directionless

Guwahati: Expelled Congress MLAs Rajdeep Gowala and Ajanta Neog on Tuesday joined that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the presence of state minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in Guwahati. At a time when the Congress is receiving criticism from all quarters, the expelled MLAs also hit out at the Grand Old Party, saying it is directionless and visionless.
“There is no discipline in Congress and the party is directionless. Their national leadership doesn t care about grassroots workers think,” Ajanta Neog said. Rajdeep Gowala also said that the party is visionless. ....

Guwahati: Union Home Minister Amit Shah here on Saturday sounded the poll bugle by saying that the state s two biggest problems -infiltration and floods could be resolved only by the BJP government in Assam.
