ELKINS Each January the Randolph County Commission appoints one of its three sitting commissioners to the role of president. During Thursday’s regular meeting at the James Cain Courthouse Annex, Commissioners David Kesling and Chris See unanimously voted for Mark Scott to be commission president for 2021.
Kesling served as commission president for 2020.
This is the second time in the past three years that Scott has served as president of the county commission.
“I’m really looking forward to filling the role as president again,” said Scott. “We really accomplished a lot with David (Kesling) last year and I think we’re moving in the right direction. I’m anxious to see what all we can do this year.” ....
