Egypt was in the ascendancy for the early part of the match and it was only in the 18 th minute when Danes took the lead. The halftime score was 16-13 in Favor of Denmark. The Danes maintained a lead in most of the second half but Egypt was resilient and the second half ended 28-28. There was more drama in extra time. Danes looked to win at the end of the first extra time but right at the end Denmark’s Mikkel Hansen was sent off for time wasting and A final 7m throw converted by Sanad gave the Egyptians the draw that took them to the second two periods. ....
