APPSC: No Prelims For Group II To IV Jobs

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission announced that except for Group 1 posts, no preliminary exam will be conducted for other APPSC exams. APPSC member Shaik Salam Babu said that preliminary exams for the APPSC except for Group 1 posts have been dropped.
Furthermore, in future notifications, 10% of all positions will be reserved for EWS (Economically Weaker Section)candidates. There will also be an increase in the number of jobs in different posts.
All cases against unemployed youth who had held a protest near the APPSC office will be withdrawn by the APPSC.
According to Babu, Out of the 32 notifications it had issued, APPSC has completed posting in 30 notifications. The filling of the Group 1 and government polytechnic college lecturer posts is going to be completed soon after the pending cases in the court are solved. ....

Amaravati, July 18 : Scrapping the interview stage of all Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) examinations has come as a surprise, eliciting mixed reactions from leading competitive examination trainers and aspirants.
Not just interviews, APPSC has also scrapped the preliminary examinations for all its recruitments on Friday, save for Group 1 selections and will also implement the 10 per cent Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) reservation.
According to AP chief secretary Aditya Nath Das, the interview move is aimed at bringing complete transparency in the state public service commission recruitments. ....

Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) on Friday announced that there will be no preliminary examinations for all its recruitments, save for Group 1 selections.
APPSC member S. Salam Babu also announced the application of 10 per cent Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) reservation.
He said that the APPSC has completed appointments for 30 of the 32 notifications it has issued until now, but Group 1 and polytechnic college lecturers appointments are currently stuck in the courts. ....
