Local cases of the coronavirus are continuing to decline.
On Tuesday, Feb. 16, Fort Saskatchewan reported 12 cases, Sherwood Park reported 57 cases, Strathcona County reported 15 cases, and Sturgeon County reported 18 cases.

A COVID-19 outbreak at the Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital has lead to several local deaths. The outbreak was declared in one of the hospital’s units in January. On Feb. 11 AHS reported seven patients tested positive for the virus. Five patients have died and two have recovered. ....

Local cases of the coronavirus are continuing to decline.
Alberta Health Services (AHS) provided an update on Sunday, Jan. 7. Fort Saskatchewan reported only 14 active cases of the virus. Sherwood Park reported 72 cases, Strathcona County reported 20 cases, and Sturgeon County reported 28.

Fort Saskatchewan has recorded 531 cases of the virus since the pandemic started and 501 of those are now listed as recovered.
The 16 COVID-19 deaths recorded locally have been linked to an outbreak at Rivercrest Care Centre. As of last week, the remainder of the residents had recovered from the virus. ....
