JAMMU, July 7: Government of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir is going to dedicate to the public several important projects of health and power development sectors as the same are ready for commissioning during the next some days. Moreover, portal for registration of new vehicles is ready for formal launch anytime as part of the ongoing drive to provide online services.
Official sources told EXCELSIOR that during the recent high level meeting the Administrative Secretaries of different departments have conveyed to the Chief Secretary Dr Arun Kumar Mehta that several important projects have been completed and are ready for inauguration any time.
It decides to bear the cost of treatment amounting to ₹1.50 crore
The State government has announced that it will bear the cost of treatment, amounting to ₹1.50 crore, of N. Bhaskara Rao, a medical officer in the primary health centre at Karamchedu in Prakasam district, who is battling for life following COVID-19 complications at a corporate hospital in Hyderabad.
An official release said that Dr. Bhaskara Rao and his wife Bhagya Lakshmi, an assistant professor in Guntur Medical College, had tested positive for COVID-19 and were admitted to the Government General Hospital in Guntur on April 30. They were administered Remdesivir injection.
