New research has revealed more than 60 per cent of Australians are planning more road trips in 2020 – unsurprisingly – as international borders remain closed and the price of domestic flights soar. 
Although the usual tourist spots will likely see a rush of high-spirited holidayers, don’t ditch your road-trip plans yet. A recent report found around half of Aussie drivers prefer to use the most direct route to their destination – sticking to motorways.
