Husband arrested for impersonating his wife during teacher's recruitment exam in Osun

A man has been apprehended in Osun State for impersonating his wife at the ongoing teacher’s recruitment exercise in the state.
The operatives of Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), on Wednesday, arrested the imposter at the College of Education, Ilesa CBT centre.
He was caught after his passport photograph was said not to have a match with the photo records of applicants stored on the database of the Ministry of Education.
A statement issued by the Information Officer at the Ministry of Education, Roseline Olawuni, stated that the husband was apprehended with the help of operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps. ....

Abba Moro, Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District, has announced the release of Elijah Odeh, a young barber held in Kano State over hairstyle alleged to be offensive to Islam.
Moro, in a statement on Wednesday, thanked Governor Samuel Ortom and all those who, in one way or the other, lent their voices in the struggle to get Odeh released.
The statement read, “I’m pleased to announce the release of Elijah Odeh, a young barber from Obi LGA arrested and detained in Kano State over hairstyle he designed on two of his customers. The case was struck out today. ....
