Assam s favourable position for trade prospects with Japan stressed
Guwahati, Feb 15 (UNI) The advantageous position of Assam in
enhancing cooperation between India and the countries to its eastern frontier, including Japan, was stressed at a discussion on ‘Act East Policy and India-Japan Cooperation in North East India with Special focus on Assam’ here today, attended by the Japanese Ambassador to India, Satoshi Suzuki, and India’s External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar.
Speaking at the programme, Dr S. Jaishankar said Assam has long been the bridge between India and the countries of the world to the east of India. ....
