Jakarta (ANTARA) - People s Consultative Assembly (MPR) Deputy Speaker Hidayat Nur Wahid has sought the “immediate” formation of an independent fact-finding team to probe the shooting of six Islam Defenders Front (FPI) members by police.
He has also asked that the team be led by the National Commission on Human Rights (Komnas HAM).
The members of the fact-finding team must be drawn from the Komnas HAM, community-based organizations, political parties, non-governmental organizations, and the House of Representatives (DPR), he was quoted by ANTARA as saying here on Friday. ....

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Chief of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Inspector General Fadil Imran has vowed to take firm action against mass organizations or groups harming the nation s diversity by committing crimes, including through hate speeches, fake news, and incitement.
